Here, you’ll discover fine specialty coffee, ethically sourced and expertly roasted in Etoy, ensuring each cup is as meaningful as it is delicious.

Paired with our irresistible selection of handcrafted pastries, delicious salads from YOMI, and creative pastry workshops, FLAVOURS is the perfect stop for a delightful treat any time of day.

The workshop was excellent!

The workshop was excellent, the materials provided were really good and the cake was delicious. The evening was really good fun and had a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it and would do it again. I told Val I wanted a sponge raspberry cake, with fresh raspberries, and that’s exactly what I got! She was very generous with her ingredients! A looooot of fresh raspberries! I love the texture of the cake, even tho it was a sponge cake, it was not dry at all! The flavours were great as well, not too sweet and you pretty much get the sourness of the raspberry in every single bite! So if anyone in Lausanne is looking for a delicious cake with beautiful designs - bakedbyval is your go-to!

Your cake was just delicious

Valerie, your cake was just delicious. You managed to deliver a beautiful cake and at the same time delicious: the layers of cream and cake were mixing very naturally and the overall result was fresh and light. Everyone enjoyed their piece and didn’t leave a bite 😉 Plus the birthday boy was so happy! Thank you for everything! 😘

SO HAPPY!

I’ve known Val and her cakes since over 15 years and they never disappoint! From the outside look to the inside taste, everything is just perfect and will make you and your guests’ bellies SO HAPPY! I recommend 200% (my personal favourite is the triple chocolate cheesecake. “Une tuerie”)

Valerie’s cakes look as good as they taste!

Valerie’s cakes look as good as they taste! It’s not easy to find cakes that deliver on both, but hers really do. I had the opportunity to enjoy many of them and I have never been disappointed. If I had to chose my favourite one (difficult choice!) it would be the cheesecake. She is also open to any new challenge and listens carefuly to your wishes!

Incredible creations

Last year (2022) I was on a hunt for a sponge raspberry cake in Lausanne, Switzerland and came across ‘bakedbyval’ on instagram. Her incredible creations caught my attention immediately as I was looking for a cake with beautiful designs. I finally get to try it this year (2023)!
