Layer cake

A layer cake is a type of cake that consists of multiple cake layers stacked on top of each other with a delicious filling in between each layer. 

The layers can be made from various cake flavours, such as vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, or lemon, and the filling can be anything from ganache, mascarpone frosting, swiss buttercream frosting, whipped cream, fruit compote or chocolate ganache.

Between the layers:

  • Vanilla mascarpone cream
  • Chocolate (cocoa) mascarpone cream
